The Springville PTO provides vital goods, services and communication in support of the school, students, staff, and community. Working directly with staff, parents, and local organizations we enhance the educational experience for Springville students through volunteerism, fundraising and enrichment activities.
The PTO is comprised of all parents/guardians of Springville students. Through volunteerism and fundraising, the PTO sponsors and coordinates many activities for students. Some examples of the activities we support are Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB), Art Literacy in the classrooms, Literacy Night, Global Gala, 5th grade celebration, field trips, staff appreciation days, and upgrades for the school including technology refreshes for classrooms, book refreshes for the library and classrooms, cafeteria improvements, A/V equipment and more! Our Wolf Run in the fall is the primary fundraiser to make it all happen!
FUNDS: We count on our community of parents/guardians to help us reach our fundraising goals.
VOLUNTEER: We need you, our amazing community of parents/guardians to volunteer in order for our events to happen - it takes all of us!
We also need more board members! We have vacant positions including Secretary and Communications Coordinator. Please contact president@springvillepto.org to learn more about vacancies. Regular board elections take place each year at our May meeting. Positions are limited to two consecutive one year terms.
